ABOUT Mrs. Kim

Hi! I am Mrs. Kim. I have been a teacher and children's minister for over 20 years in many different capacities, teaching 2nd grade, transitional kindergarten (TK), and preschool, and running a day care and summer day camp.

 

It all began with a heart for young children and a conviction that children must be taught well while they are young and most impressionable. We must be careful and loving in the actions and examples we set. Along with the ABCs and 123s of academic learning, children need the building blocks of ABC: Attitude, Behavior, and Character.

 

I started "Mrs. Kim's Building Blocks" to help children and families learn, grow in maturity, and have fun! This site and the YouTube channel are for those who are learning virtually or who may not be able to attend preschool, transitional kindergarten, or kindergarten. My aim is to assist parents who want to provide an introduction and a review to all the basics covered in the early grades of elementary school. I hope that the resources you'll find here will help your child[ren] to grow and experience the joy of learning.
